About The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team focused on public institutions, European-funded projects and other strategic initiatives. This role is essential for the development and management of European-funded tenders and projects with public institutions across regions. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, driving the proposal process, and overseeing the execution of various projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Business Development and Strategy: Research and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the public funding landscape, advising on strategic initiatives.
- Tender and Proposal Management: Lead the preparation of tender proposals and contribute to winning bids with a focus on European public funding.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders, both within public institutions and across the private sector.
- Project Management: Oversee the development and execution of projects funded by the European Union and other public institutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Leading Cross-Functional Teams: Manage and guide a diverse team working across business development and advisory.
You Are a Fit If
- You have min. 3 years of relevant experience in the world of EU programs H2020/Horizon Europe and International Organizations.
- You possess excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus, such as Spanish, Italian, or others).
- You have a proven track record in writing successful proposals and securing funding for European projects (please provide examples if available).
- You have strong experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, driving strategic initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional projects.
- You have excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- You are proactive, with an entrepreneurial attitude and a passion for business development.
