About The Company
Mind the Bridge is a global organization that provides innovation advisory services for corporates and startups. With HQs in San Francisco (CA) and offices in London, Italy, and Spain, we have been working as an international bridge at the intersection between Startups and Corporations since 2007. We scout, filter, and work with 1500+ startups a year. We support global corporations in their innovation quest driving open innovation initiatives that often translate into curated deals with startups (namely PoCs, licensing, investments, and/or acquisitions). Overall, you'll be working in a young, diverse, fast-paced environment that tries to stimulate the constant growth of employees by fostering their entrepreneurial attitude.

About The Role
As a vital member of our Business Development team, you'll spearhead the exploration and assessment of potential growth opportunities within our existing markets and projects. Your primary focus will be on identifying and nurturing strategic relationships with key prospects, assessing their needs, and aligning our solutions to drive business expansion.
Furthermore, as part of projects such as Corporate Startup Stars (https://www.corporatestartupstars.com/), you will analyze the open innovation activities of several corporates internationally. The work requires the ability to develop a deep understanding of a company’s innovation activities and how large enterprises work with startups. You’ll be working directly with the Director of Business Development. This is a great opportunity to learn first-hand about open innovation and Business Development, within one of the top advisory companies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new potential clients and partners
  • Study large enterprises' innovation activities and collaboration with startups
  • Proactively reach out to prospects through various channels (emails & social media mainly) to establish connections and nurture relationship
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to optimize lead-generation strategies
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities in our CRM system
  • Provide insights and feedback to enhance our sales and marketing strategies
  • A small part of your time will be dedicated to following startup and technology scouting projects for our clients


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record in business development or sales
  • Ideally, some experience in the world of Open Innovation, Venture Capital, or Startups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects/processes and to feel comfortable with chaos
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to achieving goals
  • English language proficiency and you speak Spanish and/or Italian
  • Pitch ideas and produce well-crafted presentations
